How many does a scaffold need?
Rails at about 1 m and 0.5 m above the deck on the open side, so nobody falls off the platform. On ScaFix's example house (11.4 m × 5.3 m), the app's group “Guardrails” has 36 pieces with Layher Blitz, 72 with Layher Allround and 96 with PERI UP. A straight 12.28 × 6 m wall takes 12 with Layher Blitz.
Guardrail in three systems
The example house scaffolded all round and three straight walls, each computed by ScaFix's engine with the system's own bay length and depth. The counts are the app's part group, which can also hold related parts (for example legs or base plates with the base jacks).
| System | Example house | 6.14 × 4 m | 12.28 × 6 m | 30.7 × 12 m |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Layher Blitz | 36 | 4 | 12 | 60 |
| Layher Allround | 72 | 8 | 24 | 120 |
| PERI UP | 96 | 8 | 24 | 120 |
