How many does a scaffold need?
A board along the edge of the deck that stops tools and material from sliding off. On ScaFix's example house (11.4 m × 5.3 m), the app's group “Toeboards” has 24 pieces with Layher Blitz, 24 with Layher Allround and 32 with PERI UP. A straight 12.28 × 6 m wall takes 8 with Layher Blitz.
Toe board in three systems
The example house scaffolded all round and three straight walls, each computed by ScaFix's engine with the system's own bay length and depth. The counts are the app's part group, which can also hold related parts (for example legs or base plates with the base jacks).
| System | Example house | 6.14 × 4 m | 12.28 × 6 m | 30.7 × 12 m |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Layher Blitz | 24 | 2 | 8 | 50 |
| Layher Allround | 24 | 2 | 8 | 50 |
| PERI UP | 32 | 2 | 8 | 50 |
