How many does a scaffold need?
A vertical tube that carries the scaffold's load down to the ground; in a frame scaffold the standards are part of the frames. On ScaFix's example house (11.4 m × 5.3 m), the app's group “Frames and standards” has 60 pieces with Layher Blitz, 96 with Layher Allround and 120 with PERI UP. A straight 12.28 × 6 m wall takes 18 with Layher Blitz.
Standard in three systems
The example house scaffolded all round and three straight walls, each computed by ScaFix's engine with the system's own bay length and depth. The counts are the app's part group, which can also hold related parts (for example legs or base plates with the base jacks).
| System | Example house | 6.14 × 4 m | 12.28 × 6 m | 30.7 × 12 m |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Layher Blitz | 60 | 7 | 18 | 75 |
| Layher Allround | 96 | 12 | 30 | 132 |
| PERI UP | 120 | 12 | 30 | 132 |
