What has changed in ScaFix?
This log lists the changes ScaFix customers see, newest first, each dated by its release: plans, scaffold systems, safety rules, features, platforms and the website. Latest change, 25 October 2026: Try one week is now a weekly Pro subscription. Prices are on the price page. The entries are also an RSS feed at /changelog.xml.

25 October 2026 · Plans: Try one week is now a weekly Pro subscription
New buyers of Try one week get full Pro for a week, and the subscription renews every week at the weekly Pro price until it is cancelled. Cancelled in the first week, access ends at once and nothing more is charged; after a paid week, access runs to the end of that week. The current prices are on the price page.
24 October 2026 · Plans: Try one week continued as Basic yearly (24–25 October)
For one day, Try one week gave a week of full Pro and then continued as a yearly Basic plan unless it was cancelled during the week. Since 25 October, new buyers get the weekly Pro subscription instead.
24 October 2026 · Features: Mobile towers and stair towers are Pro features
Planning, creating and editing mobile scaffold towers and stair towers needs Pro; Try one week includes it. Basic and Basic Light can still open and delete towers they saved earlier.
24 October 2026 · Scaffold systems: 34 more system pages
The systems added in the catalogue's second correction round got their own pages: bay lengths and depths, a render from the 3D model and a dated note on the manufacturer documents each system follows. US frame systems show their walls in feet first.
23 October 2026 · Scaffold systems: 17 more system pages, and pages on scaffold rules and costs
New system pages: WACO Narrow, Metaltech Saferstack, Scafom-Rux SUPER 65, Baumann ProfiTech S 73 plus and A 73 plus, Solideq RAMSCAFF, PERI UP Easy, Layher Blitz 70 Alu, Plettac SL 70 Alu, Acrow SUPERCUPLOK, ALTRAD MAG 42, Disk-lock Type B, Marcegaglia Realpont and SM8, Pilosio MP, CETA Multiceta and ALTEC AluSprint, each with dated source notes. New pages on the scaffold rules in Norway, Germany, the UK and US, Sweden, Denmark and Poland, and on scaffold costs in Norway, Germany, the UK and US, Sweden and Poland, each citing its sources.
22 October 2026 · Features: Material hoists in Pro
In the Pro studio you can add material hoists to a scaffold. The parts list and the customer quote state each hoist's structural condition, which the scaffold supplier or a structural engineer must clear. ScaFix is a planning aid, not structural approval.
22 October 2026 · Platforms: ScaFix in ChatGPT (developer preview)
The ScaFix app for ChatGPT works in ChatGPT's developer mode: describe the walls in a chat and ScaFix's engine, the same as in the web and iPhone apps, answers with bays, lifts, decks, corners and access, a 3D card and a link. It is not in ChatGPT's app directory yet.
18 October 2026 · Plans: No free plan: Try one week, Basic Light, Basic and Pro
From 18 October at 22:45 Norwegian time, your own projects and parts lists need a plan. The 3D demo house still opens without an account, to look at only. Try one week was then a one-time week of full Pro; it became a subscription on 24 October.
18 October 2026 · Safety rules: Diagonals and sloping ground follow the manufacturers' manuals
Diagonal braces for several frame systems, among them ALFIX, MJ UNI 70/100 and OLAN, are now placed and counted as the manufacturers' assembly instructions show them, and on sloping ground the bottom-lift rules follow each bay's own base level. Check every scaffold against the manufacturer's instructions: ScaFix is a planning aid, not structural approval.
16 October 2026 · Safety rules: Guardrails on the bottom lift
The bottom lift now always gets guardrails and ledgers for stiffening, even where it has no deck: on the outside by default, or inside or on both sides, and never fewer than the manufacturer's manual asks for. In the web app, and in the iPhone app from version 1.12.8. ScaFix is a planning aid, not structural approval.
14 October 2026 · Plans: A smaller plan: Basic Light
Basic Light plans walls up to 20 × 20 m and shows the complete parts list in the apps, without the PDF report, export or walls from a PDF drawing.
13 October 2026 · Website: A new front page in twelve language versions
The new front page was published in English, Norwegian, German, Dutch, Polish, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, French and Spanish, with Swiss and Austrian German versions.
10 October 2026 · Plans: Two plans: Basic and Pro
The subscriptions became Basic and Pro, with Pro holding the Pro studio and white labelling. The iPhone app followed with version 1.12.5.
Questions and answers
When did ScaFix stop having a free plan?
On 18 October 2026. Since then your own projects and parts lists need a plan; the 3D demo house still opens without an account, to look at only.
Is ScaFix on Google Play?
Not yet (checked 25 October 2026). On an Android phone or tablet, open scafix.app in Chrome: the web app is the same ScaFix, with the same account.
Why are there no prices in the changelog?
Prices change with the price files and are stated in one place, the price page, so this log never shows an old price.
