How ScaFix handles data

This Privacy Policy describes what information ScaFix may process when you use the app, and what choices you have.

What we collect
1) Account (sign‑in)
If you choose to sign in, ScaFix may use Firebase Authentication (Google) to handle account and sign‑in (Apple, Google, email/password, or anonymous/guest).
Typical data: user ID (uid), email (if used), display name (if available), and which sign‑in method was used.
2) Anonymous usage analytics (optional)
ScaFix can collect limited and anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. We use Firebase Analytics (Google) for this.
You can disable analytics in the app under Settings → Privacy.
- App opens (how often the app is used)
- Number of scaffolding projects created
- Which scaffolding systems are used (e.g. Jamax, Layher, HAKI)
- Approximate country/region (aggregated)
- App version and device type (for analytics and troubleshooting)
3) Subscriptions and purchases
Payments and subscriptions are handled by Apple via the App Store. ScaFix does not receive your payment card details or full payment information. The app may read subscription status via StoreKit to unlock Pro features.
4) Projects and measurements
Project data (such as walls, measurements and selections) is primarily stored locally on your device. ScaFix does not upload project content by default.
What we do not collect
- IDFA or data for advertising
- Sensitive personal data
Sharing and processors
We do not share analytics with third parties for advertising. For sign‑in and (optional) analytics we use Google Firebase as a data processor.
Your choices
- Disable analytics in Settings → Privacy
- Request access or deletion by contacting support
Retention and deletion
Account information in Firebase is stored as long as the account is active. Local projects remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Contact support if you want help deleting account data.
Changes
We may update this policy when needed. For material changes, we will update the date at the top.
